Today I ran the thursday coed sand volleyball league at Hedgers Boyer park. I set up the score sheets, score boards, collected money, team roster, and wavier forms. when it was over, I store all the equipment in the storage room and then locked up the storage. I also got invited to play on a volleyball team for next thursday.
Started out in morning turning in the money collected from the women sand volleyball league to Matt at the department then I went to his desk to update the standings in the womens league. Then tyoe out a schedule for each team. Next I had to set up the coed power sand volleyball league and the coed recreation sand volleyball league at Hedges Boyer Patk. I basically did the same thing that i did yesterday for the womens sand volleyball league.
Today I was put in charge to run the women's Volleyball recreation league at headges Boyer Park. Matt gave me the keys to store the equipment in the storage room and then a key to the ccocessions in case anyone need ice. I started out by setting up the scoreboards. set out the volleyballs for the teams to use. then set out the score sheets. Next I had to collect each teams payment, team roster, and wavier form before each team participated. When it started to get dark, I learn how to turn the lights on. once it was over I had to lock up all the equipment. I did such a good job, that Matt decided to let me run the Wednseday and thursday league for the rest of the month.
Today I spend the whole four hours typing in the kids spring/summer camp registration forms into Matt's computer data base page in the department office. I had to type over a hundred kids information. Last, Matt gave me a flyer to go drop off to thr fire department to use in the Memorial Day parade. I also got a chance to meet a couple of figher fighter.
Today I started of finishing typing the 2012 spring and summer schedule into Matt's google calander. then answer calls and take message at office for an hour. and finally wait for two trucks to be drop back off in the office before I close up.
Today i did office work at the Tiffin Recreation Parks department. first I put together the Volleyball league score sheets and then fill out the score sheet of who plays next tuesday. Next I made copies of registration forms for the kids spring/summer camp.Then collect the forms and put them in a binner in last name order. Finally staeted typing all the 2012 spring/summer schedule into Matt's google calander.
On the first day on the Internship I had to fill out paper work with Matt. Then next we drove around in the Tiffin recreation and park truck. Matt drove me around to see all 12 parks for Tiffin and told me which parks they like to use for events the most. after we drove around, he show me some of the unions they work with in Tiffin. Matt then gave me a 2012 softball and baseball schedule to help out with the leagues if needed. we then went down town to a place for me to get a criminal back ground check. the last thing Matt had me do is take registraion camp forms and type them into a data base sheet.
